Our Philosophy - Castle Hill BEEHIVE

We aim to establish a caring, stimulating and safe environment in which your child can grow and learn at their own pace. Castle Hill Beehive Childcare will provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences that are non-biased and that respect the values and beliefs of the families attending.

In order to meet the individual needs of the children attending, Beehive will provide learning experiences in the following areas:
  • Physical Development - including experiences in gymnastics and gross motor movement, as well as opportunities to refine small motor skills such as drawing, writing, threading and cutting.
     
  • Cognitive Development - including activities that focus on number, problem solving, sequencing and concept development.
     
  • Language Development - through experiences with a variety of texts as well as group stories and individual news times. We will also take time to work with your child if they need refinement of any language difficulties. We offer children a chance to learn a second language to further enhance their language development.
     
  • Social & Emotional Development - including opportunities to role play, share, develop independence and turn take in a variety of settings within the Childcare centre. We also encourage children to develop a positive self esteem and self confidence.
     
  • Creative Development - including activities with a variety of art and craft mediums as well as dance and musical expression experiences.   
These activities take place in a happy and non-threatening environment, where staff will encourage the children to develop at their own pace, whilst respecting each child's identity and independence.
