Killara Beehive believes in providing education programs that will stimulate and foster a love of learning in your child. We do this by having high staff-to-child ratios, so that each child can receive positive feedback and direction regularly. The program is planned for the individual child and is based on their needs and interest.
Each child at Killara Beehive has their own portfolio which the staff continuously update during the year. The portfolio is a record of your child's journey and development at Beehive and includes their paintings, observations, photos and events that occur at Beehive. In June your child's development summary is completed and is sent home with your child’s portfolio for you to look through and make comments. If you have any concerns re your child's development or the portfolio, we ask that you speak to your child's teacher and/or the Director, and they will arrange a time for a meeting.
At the end of the year, a checklist will be completed on your child's development and it will be sent home with your child's portfolio.
